Peter Bryan was born in Castlemaine, Victoria 1946 and now lives and works in Barwon Heads, Victoria.

He studied Architectural Design and Drafting at Canberra Technical College in 1976.  He studied watercolour painting under William Boutho and David Taylor and studied acrylic techniques under Herman Pekel.

As a Contemporary Landscape painter, Peter's artworks are inspired by the rugged Australian landscape and it's qualities of atmosphere, light and extreme weather.  He captures these beautiful landscapes predominately in acrylics and watercolour.

His work is held in several public collections including Ballarat Grammar School, Ballarat City Council, Mars Confectionary as well as many private collections in Australia and Overseas.
